Winter paradise Zillertal

The whole of the Zillertal valley is one giant winter wonderland.

Zell – the historic and geographical heart of the Zillertal – is the best base for accessing the action-packed Zillertal Arena ski area.

The ski area around Zell am Ziller – boasts 147 kilometres of slopes served by snow-making machines, après-ski bars, a half-pipe for snowboarders, a floodlit toboggan run and much, much more. The Zillertaler Superskipass is also valid for all of the other ski areas and lifts in the Zillertal valley.

There are plenty of other exciting activities to be discovered, apart from downhill skiing: the Arena Coaster, cross-country skiing tracks, the Arena Hot-Zone Snowpark and half-pipe for snowboarders, the free ski shuttle bus, ski and snowboard schools, an ice-skating rink, Alpine curling rink, indoor tennis courts and, last but not least, the nostalgic Zillertalbahn steam train experience.

But if all this seems a little overwhelming, you can simply head off on a beautiful winter walk through the sparkling snowy landscape.
