Zell am Ziller is a veritable paradise for families and children.

As well as our own playground and child-friendly farm, Freizeitpark Zell (leisure park) is only a few minutes away. Covering an area of over 45,000 m², it offers a huge choice of leisure options, including for young people and adults! The already legendary Arena Coaster also deserves another mention here.

The “Familiennest” programme in Zell am Ziller offers children aged four years and above (without parents) a wide range of exciting activities and is free for our guests.

For horse-lovers, we recommend Edhof riding stables, which are located 12 km away in Fügen.

Fun, action and speed are guaranteed on the Zillertal’s first Alpine rollercoaster: the Arena Coaster! The 1,450 m-long Coaster starts right at the base station of the Zillertal Arena in Zell and is the year-round attraction for young and old alike, with its countless waves, tight corners and jumps! 360° and 540° descending loops add an extra dash of adrenalin.

The Erlebnistherme Zillertal spa in Fügen im Zillertal offers fun for families with children and relaxation for those seeking a spa experience and repose.

Boasting a 1,700 m² expanse of water, the outdoor pool area is packed full of attractions: water jets, a waterfall shower, trampoline, giant inflatable starfish, lazy river, mushroom fountain, bouncy cushions, bubble jets, a giant bouncy castle and two water slides. FREIZEITPARK ZELL

The Alpine Zoo (Alpenzoo Innsbruck) lies at the foot of the Nordkette mountain range and is home to around 2,000 animals from the Alpine animal kingdom. A visit to the zoo is a special experience the whole year round. During the winter, you can observe nearly all species of animals. Spring is a particularly interesting time to visit, because it is prime time to see the baby animals and the birds building their nests.
