Memorable Experience

Holidays at the Farm

The nostalgic Zillertalbahn steam train experience, which takes you through the lush landscape of the Zillertal and past our apartments, is an attraction on the move.

Why not pay a visit to Tyrol’s oldest private brewery and sample the delicious “Zillertal Bier”? Other highly interesting and worthwhile attractions include a gold mine, a working dairy in Mayrhofen, our zoo and the Zillertal Regional Museum.

And don’t miss out on one of Europe’s most beautiful flying areas: dare to see things from a different perspective on a paragliding trip.

Enjoy your favourite game on an 18-hole championship course, featuring a top-class practice facility with covered tees and short-game area against the breathtaking backdrop of the Zillertal mountains.

Our guests may be particularly interested in the distance membership of the golf club for adults. More details on this and other important information is available here:

A drive along the Zillertaler Höhenstraße high mountain road is an experience in itself. It is one of Austria's most beautiful alpine roads and leads up to 2,020 metres above sea level. The road was originally used as a service road for farmers to help them manage their alpine pastures and to improve access for building river barriers. Nowadays, it can be reached via five access roads and is a highlight of any summer holiday in Zillertal.

Austria’s smallest town

With just under 500 inhabitants, the quaint glass town of Rattenberg is the ideal place for a leisurely stroll, for sampling the local pastries or doing a spot of shopping. The many specialist shops dotted around the medieval alleyways offer a wide variety of traditional glassware. You can enjoy superb views of the town from the "Schlossberg" castle ruins on the hill. With the Augustine Museum and the annual theatre performance "Schlossbergspiele", Rattenberg has rightly earned its place as the cultural heart of the region.
