The Zillertal: a summer paradise
With our farm, meadow and playground, we have plenty of space for children to play in summer – in a picturesque, panoramic mountain setting. Plenty of fun can be had by young and old alike with our trampoline, gym bars, swings, tree house and wave slide, table-tennis, table football, sandpit, children’s pool, garden furniture and badminton.
Zell – the historic heart of the Zillertal valley – also makes an ideal base for hikes, excursions and cycle rides in the Zillertal Alps. You can hire suitable bikes from us.
Zell’s latest attraction is the amazing Arena-Coaster,
a 1,450 metre-long summer toboggan run with exciting, tight bends, jumps, waves and descending loops – fun and action galore for young and old.
The Zillertal: a winter paradise
The Zillertal Arena – the ski area around Zell am Ziller – boasts 165 kilometres of slopes with 174 ha of pistes served by snow-making machines, 27 après-ski bars, a half-pipe for snowboarders, a 7 km floodlit toboggan run and much, much more. The Zillertaler Superskipass is also valid for all of the other ski areas and lifts in the Zillertal valley.
What’s more, the area offers a huge range of options for winter hiking, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, paragliding and snowshoeing – or you can simply sit back and relax on a sun terrace at a mountain hut.
